Yes. She looked for economic opportunities, expanded her skilled and adapted them to opportunities which presented themselves ( going from herbalist to henna artist to wedding broker to medical consultant), creating deals as she had the chance. I thought she was quite creative and showed a fair amount of business acumen. Malik was even better, though.

She was definitely an entrepreneur, not only in how she ran her henna business but in her approach to building her home. I loved her relationship with Malik and how she took him under her wing and, despite his young age, how he helped her.

Very definitely, Lakshmi was an entrepreneur. She looked for opportunities within her realm of knowledge and worked them. Through her discussions with her clients she knew who was looking for suitable spouses for their children and took the opportunity to become a marriage broker. She borrowed money and repaid it, she designed her home, she added additional services by selling her herbal concoctions to increase her income.

Totally, 100% - she showed resilience in the face of setbacks, which is a core trait of successful entrepreneurs.
I was very impressed with her personal strength and her desire to do whatever it took to live a better life. She was always eager to learn and grow, which is an important characteristic for success in almost anything, whether life or business.

An entrepreneur is a person who organizes and operates a business, taking on greater than normal financial risks in order to do so. This definition fits Lakshmi’s efforts to create a better life through her work so yes, she is an entrepreneur.

Lakshmi is definitely an entrepreneur in the truest sense! She created a business based on her skills and talents, made connections, changed/expanded her services depending on the client, and was even willing to move to grow her customer base. She struck me as very level headed. At the same time, she was quite willing to take risks and completely change her course in the very middle of it.

Absolutely, Lakshmi is an entrepreneur. She seeks opportunity where it takes her. She has an artistic ability which she has maximized. Her training with her mother-in-law also makes her privy to helping women in need. She sees an opportunity and she takes it.

Yes, Lakshmi was a fantastic entrepreneur in that she developed a sought after skill and cultivated a customer list of followers who were eager for both her charismatic personality and her skillful henna designs. She created her business as she created herself and they were one in the same inseparable.

I do believe that Lakshmi is an entrepreneur. She was creative and innovative and relied on herself to respond to unmet needs in the community as a henna artist, as a matchmaker, as a source of information, and finally as a medical consultant. She knew how to use her skills to manage her suppliers and her customers.
